Last night my parents (the brotherhood's grandparents) had a wonder farewell dinner for us. Grandpa Gene slow-cooked his famous ribs for over 3.5 hrs until they were literally falling off the bones. My mom made fresh cole slaw and red potato salad too. It was really wonderful! To top it all off, my mom brought out a BEAUTIFUL blackberry cobbler, made with a special crust of coconut and pecans, topped with pure vanilla ice cream. YUMMO! Now that's a send-off.
